ABOUT US
WPP and iHeartMedia were brought together by tragedies involving opioids within our corporate families. WPP, a global creative transformation company, and iHeartMedia, America’s largest multimedia company, specializing in radio, digital, and live events, joined with other leading organizations to create the National Opioid Action Coalition (NOAC). NOAC is a corporate social responsibility initiative that helps federal, state, and private sector programs extend their reach in communities affected by the opioid crisis and achieve positive, measurable results in prevention, treatment, and recovery.
Why We’re Different
While there are many organizations and programs combating the opioid crisis, most are limited in their promotional reach and longevity. Effectively addressing these challenges requires all of us working in unison to help programs at all levels achieve lasting impact.
Our goal is leveraging the power of communication and creative to spark a movement to reduce stigma.
Spotlight and link to local, state, and national opioid-related resources.
Engage private sector companies to raise public awareness through retail, mobile, business-to-business, and employee outreach programs.
Promote celebrity influencers, including locally and nationally recognized artists and media personalities who want to lend support or have been personally affected by opioid misuse.
